Now that youre logged in to your preferred Google Drive account, look for the gear icon near the upper-right of Chromes window when youre on the Drive website.

In the Settings window, click General from the list on the left.

The option to sync your Google Drive documents for offline viewing will be in the list on the right.

Check that box, click Done on the Settings, and yourewell, done After configuring offline access, you can double-click to open, view, and edit any Google document synced to your Drive account, even when youre offline.

Any changes you make while offline will be cached locally on your Mac.

The next time your Mac has an active Internet connection, your changes will be automatically synced back to your Google Drive account.
